Fall Semester
The fall semester begins on Monday, August 28, 2022, and ends on Friday, December 15, 2022. There will be a two-week fall break from Monday, October 10, 2022, to Friday, October 20, 2022.
Spring Semester
The spring semester begins on Monday, January 15, 2023, and ends on Friday, May 11, 2023. There will be a one-week spring break from Monday, March 5, 2023, to Friday, March 9, 2023.
Holidays and Breaks
In addition to the fall and spring breaks, there are a number of other holidays and breaks during the academic year. These include:
- Thanksgiving Break: Thursday, November 10, 2022, to Sunday, November 12, 2022
- Christmas Break: Monday, December 19, 2022, to Friday, January 5, 2023
- MSOE Day: Friday, April 27, 2023
Final Exams
Final exams will be held during the week of May 8-12, 2023. The exact dates and times of final exams will be announced closer to the end of the semester.

Graduation
Commencement for the Class of 2023 will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2023, at 10:00am in the Milwaukee Art Museum. More information about commencement will be announced closer to the date..
